Hi there ,
I'm headed out of my Durham studio today, taking up some much needed space in the Black Mountains of North Carolina with a group of like-minded artist mothers. I'm going to be resting, creating, connecting, and resetting this weekend. I'll be posting updates on my Stories in IG, but otherwise unplugging this weekend.
This retreat is timely, in so many ways, but also as I just participated in the first iteration of a global initiative, Taking Up Space, with an exhibit of the same name
at the Pocket Gallery, in Raleigh, NC. The show is still on exhibit, with a closing reception planned on June 4th. And, for many of you reading this, NC is outside of your reach, but the work that is still available is easily shipped!
If you are in need of something else - info about collecting art, commissioning a piece, or art coaching opportunities - I'll respond to you by midweek after I've gotten myself grounded back in Durham.
Wishing you a safe, connected, and meaningful Memorial Day weekend.
Creatively,
