Hi there ,
Um, halfway through April? I'm quite flabbergasted myself. I'm happy to report that I'm recovering from Covid, and that I'm doing fairly well. We had a very special weekend recently visiting family in NJ / NYC, and I brought home a souvenir of the northeast. It was bound to happen sometime. Thank goodness I have made it through with some ease and a speedy recovery.
Despite some periodic fatigue, I'm energized that my studio is almost done and I've planned some upcoming events and opportunities for you! Here's a brief bulleted rundown. If you want to linger and read more - keep scrolling!

RSVP for Friday's Virtual Studio Tour
On Friday, 4/22/22 at noon, EST, I'll be offering an intimate tour of my new studio in Durham, NC, on Zoom. This has been a work of love, that has been in progress since July of 2021, after we moved from NJ. This room has faced a lot of
challenges since we bought the home remotely, gasp, in 2021. As you read more in my recent blog post, you'll learn a bit about what we've done to renovate the space, and some of the hiccups that have caused the project to take so long.
Whether or not you choose to read about the renovation in the blog, you can RSVP here to attend a Virtual Sneak Peak on Friday, 4/22 at 12pm EST. I'll send all of those who have RSVP'd a Zoom link to attend.
You'll get a personal tour of the space, be able to ask questions and get a close up look of new works in progress, as well as possible available artwork (if it's hung), and a NEW chair. 🤞

Each card is individually printed with images from various series by Jennie, and packaged with an envelope in a clear bag. Sized at 4" x 6" and printed with pigment-based inks on canvas paper stock. These works will last (behind glass and framed out of direct light) for over 50 years, making them excellent
small prints.

The healing energy of Jennie's imagery feature fluid, vivid watercolors layered over tea packaging references the geysers of Yellowstone National Park or the flow of a waterfall found in the green hues of a dense forest. Creating yoga mats from Jennie's meditational
watercolors was the perfect iteration from fine art to function.

A Grassroots Female Focused Community Global Art Exhibition
LOCATION: The Pocket Gallery, Raleigh, NC
DATES: May 2022 - details forthcoming
I will have 2 - 3 pieces in this exciting exhibit!
"The work we create as women artists is important and deserves to be seen by our communities. This all-inclusive exhibition is the beginning of a yearly invitation for female-identifying artists to exhibit work and invite our communities to view important
contemporary art made by living working women artists. This is the beginning of a large community project to bring women artists into conversation with each other. This exhibition contains the work of eight women who live in varying cities around the Triangle."
I've been talking about my participation in the Artist Mother Network - this exhibit was spearheaded by them, in collaboration
with Thrive Artist Network - about 80 shows are taking place in and around the month of May, worldwide. This particular show in the Triangle was put together by a group of Artist Mothers of the Triangle. Follow the #takingupspace2022 to learn more.
