Thank you for your continued interest and support in TraillWorks over the first half of 2008. Yes, I did say first half, I can't believe it's July 1st! 2008 so far has proven to be a very busy and successful year. I started off the year painting at Peters Valley in their guest artist residency program, returned home and a month later was pregnant and at the same time signed a lease for a storefront gallery.
Without you I couldn't do what I'm doing. I'm very fortunate to spend my life making, selling and teaching art, and very soon raising a baby in my studio. I guarantee if you read my blog it will continue to be very interesting, and each weekly newsletter you get will be full of exciting news and events.
Have a fabulous 4th of July and I hope to see you in Newton sometime soon.

FEATURED EVENT - A Grand, Grand Opening
TraillWorks | 135 Spring St. | Newton, NJ | June 7th / 8th
Thank you to everyone who attended my grand opening celebration on June 7th. Despite the scorching temps, over 65 people turned out for the evening party to see the new space, eat, drink and be merry. I gave away a new giclée of an egg cooker to the lucky winner, Jennifer Liebeskind of Hoboken, NJ. On Sunday, Two families came by with their hounds for a complimentary pet portrait. What a fun time we had, the dogs were spectacular and the owners did all they could to keep their pups looking at me for a half hour.

TraillWorks will host local chef / author, André deWaal, owner of Andre's Restaurant in Newton. deWaal will be on hand from 3 - 4pm signing his cookbook, My Dinner at Andre's. Visitors can sample hors d' oeuvres made by the chef and wine provided by TraillWorks.
TraillWorks will be open until 8pm on Second Saturday.
