2).
Below are the first two paintings completed towards this goal. For more artwork, and Jennie's take on this lofty aspiration, follow her progress on TraillWorks: The Blog.

Current commission...
The two images below show Jennie's process from initial drawing and wash of color, to the beginning stages of color blocking and adding detail. This painting is a current commission, an homage to Jennie's client's Grandmother's kitchen, including her Cosco step stool, Hoosier cabinet,
mini percolator, and glass / chrome sugar bowl. Continue to follow her progress on Facebook and on TraillWorks: The Blog.
TraillWorks is now renting space by appointment!
Last Sunday, Sabrina Kuratana of A Cake Dream, and Robert Calabrese of Robert Edward Woodworking did just that. The duo paid a visit to TraillWorks to photograph their latest creation constructed from sugar and wood, "Crooked Cake and Squiggle Cake." (below) More information and examples of the photographs they took are available here.
Please email Jennie for information regarding renting space.
3rd Annual Student Exhibition
The Opening reception for TraillWorks' 3rd Annual Exhibition was Saturday, March 12th when friends and families of Jennie's students gathered to celebrate their achievements! In addition to some great artwork, there was also a contest judged by the guests for the most artistically presented sweet or savory food item made for the occasion.
We would like to Congratulate the first place winner, Madison Chymiy for her painted heart cookies!
Madison chose to receive a gift certificate to an art store for her prize. Second place went to Phillip Nezamis, third place to Jessica Sparling & The Manning family, and a participatory prize to Dr. Shaw. Additional photographs of the other entries, prize information and Jennie's thoughts about the show can be found on TraillWorks' Facebook page and on TraillWorks: The Blog.
