W e d d i n g  Cake Portraits

Savor your sweetest wedding memory with an original wedding cake portrait by Jennie Traill Schaeffer.  Treat yourself or surprise the bride and groom with a truly delectable gift they'll cherish for years to come.  Further information and how to order can be found here.

Most recently, Jennie has completed two commissioned wedding cake portraits.  Let's take a look at how Jennie creates her beautiful portraits from start to finish.  First, preliminary sketches are created, to explore different angles and techniques.  When the final composition is decided upon, the paint is put to canvas, and the final work of art is complete.  This particular portrait was commissioned by a college roommate to give to her sister and brother in-law as a wedding present.  The couple was married February 26, 2010.  Congratulations!
