TraillWorks Newsletter: August Levi Has Arrived!

August (Auggie) Levi Goldberg has Arrived!
Birthday - May 15, 2013
After a long 40 weeks and six days, our 2nd son decided to make his fairly speedy arrival. Born at 12:15pm on Wednesday the 15th, a day prior to a scheduled induction, little Auggie joined us at 7lb. 5oz. and 19.5" long. Delivery went smoothly without any complications and both baby and I are doing very well.

Auggie loves to sleep and eat, and now at two weeks old has begun holding his head up, looking around, listening to his big brother Joel read stories, and following objects in the air. Joel wants to help out in any way possible and constantly kisses his brother. We are very happy with the new addition to our family.

Thank you to everyone who has sent love and well wishes!

Art Lesson Opportunities
In Sussex County and with Jennie

Many of you have been inquiring about where you will be able to continue your art education, either in Sussex County, or with me in the future. An opportunity exists for both.

First, in Sussex County, former TraillWorks exhibiting artist, Ron Hornung, is working with the Springboard Shoppes in Newton to set up the Spring Street Art Center. An opening is slated for June 7th from 4 - 7pm at the 145 Spring Street location, where
a schedule of (but not limited to) drawing and painting lessons, workshops, special events, support for independent efforts, even cafeĢ conversations and stuff yet to be imagined, will be discussed and shared. Call 973-992-7794 for more info. Please mention that I referred you.

If you're still interested in working with me, I am under contract on a home in West Orange with hopes of closing in early August. I will have a studio at the house, but do not know when i would be set up for teaching. I will keep you informed as we move forward with the purchase of the home.

Daily Sketches
See what I've been creating with limited space and materials
Since the sale of my home in Newton, my family has been living in a short term rental while we buy a home. Somehow with the help of family, friends and an employee, I managed to pack up and move 1300 square feet of supplies, art and furniture into the rec room and garage of our apartment. My supplies are mostly all packed and inaccessible. Joel and I visited Jerry's art store before delivering Auggie and I purchased a new sketchbook and pens. I've done a little inconsistent doodling here and there, but as of yesterday I am making a concerted effort to draw something every day, regardless of what it is. You can follow on my Facebook page to see what I'm drawing and thinking about, The first sketch is above.
