The documentary film, Ingredients, speaks to the same goal as the FRESH exhibit on display. Written and directed by Robert Bates in 2009, the film asks us, "who is your farmer" and considers the development of the local food movement.

1st Museum Show!

Feast for the Eyes: The Art of Food

September 14, 2012 - January 13, 2013 Opening Reception: October 5, 2012, 5 - 8pm

I'm excited to announce my first museum exhibit inclusion! Several months ago, I was invited by the Noyes Museum of Art located in Hammonton, NJ, to participate in the show, Feast for the Eyes: The Art of Food. Two of my paintings were selected for inclusion. According to the museum's web site, "The exhibition will present food not merely as sustenance, but as cultural expression, a source of comfort, obsession,  a symbol of prosperity and cause for celebration.  Food has the ability to define us and who we are, tying us to our cultural roots and identity."

Join me at the opening reception on October 5th from 5 - 8pm. An artist talk will be held at 3:30pm with one of the artists, Sandra Bloodworth. Learn more about the Noyes and its current exhibits here. It's a fantastic museum, well worth a trip to South Jersey!

Art on Exhibit at SELECTIVE INSURANCE in Branchville, NJ

Thanks to the Sussex County Arts & Heritage Council along with a partnership with Selective Insurance, located in Branchville, NJ, my painting, New Jersey's Newton, has been included in a private three-month long show at the corporate headquarters. I appreciate the opportunity to share my work!
