1st Museum Show!

Feast for the Eyes: The Art of Food
NOW - January 13, 2013

I had the wonderful opportunity last weekend, to attend the opening reception of my first museum exhibit! Several months ago, I was invited by the Noyes Museum of Art located in Hammonton, NJ, to participate in the show, Feast for the Eyes: The Art of Food. According to the museum's web site, "The exhibition will present food not merely as sustenance, but as cultural expression, a source of comfort, obsession,  a symbol of prosperity and cause for celebration. Food has the ability to define us and who we are, tying us to our cultural roots and identity." The show was stupendous; I'll be sharing photos of the exhibit soon on Facebook.

Learn more about the Noyes and its current exhibits here. It's a fantastic museum, well worth a trip to South Jersey!

Join me on Sunday, October 14th from 1 - 3pm at St. Joseph's Regional School in Newton. The actual dedication should take place between 1:30 - 1:45pm. Enjoy a Bounce House, Pumpkin Painting, Face Painting, and Fall Games. Without you, I couldn't have completed this large project! Learn more on the St. Joseph Event Page on Facebook.
