Summer Isn't Over Yet!

It's been a great summer so far in my classes and workshops. If you haven't had a chance to join me, there's one last workshop coming up in August with only two more spaces available.

Although there are still two months left of Summer, I am starting to work on my Fall schedule for art lessons and workshops. Read more about how you can help me plan.

And, I've been quite busy in the studio, both making art and preparing for upcoming shows! Learn more about new works and exhibits.

I hope you're taking time to enjoy the beautiful summer weather and carve out some creative activities for yourself.

Creatively,

Nuts & Bolts of Color Workshop - For Adults
Only 2 Spaces Available!
10 - 4pm Saturday & Sunday at TraillWorks

Spend the one of the last weekends in August in my cool, brightly lit studio to explore the art, science and anthropology of color. The goal of the workshop will be to understand how colors interact, mix, and then how we perceive them, thereby building your confidence in using color in your own work. Students can work in a medium of choice, approved by me.

Fall Art Lessons & Workshops
Are you interested in Art Lessons or Workshops?
I'm currently planning my Fall schedule.
Help me by completing my scheduling poll by July 31st.

I've created a Doodle.com poll to allow you to input your Fall availability. I'm trying to be very selective with when I offer various classes based on feedback from existing students and interested students. I will be scheduling classes at my West Orange Studio, as well as possible workshops at Work & Play in South Orange. Please fill out the poll by July 31st so I can begin my scheduling.

New Cake Paintings

"The Rest of the Cake III", 5" x 5", Oil on Gessobord

I've created a series of small paintings that were inspired by my son's culinary creation: a Chocolate Fudge cake we made from a recipe in the Chocolate Bar cookbook.I thought painting the leftovers from the cake we baked together would fulfill my desire to eat it. These were so much fun to paint, and now that the cake has molded, I've finally thrown it in the trash. Maybe these will develop into larger works. Stay tuned!
