Dear ,

Happy July 4th! My son, Joel, figured out this morning that is America's 241st birthday. We celebrated by creating patriotic artwork from loose parts in the kids playroom. See some pics below.

And, I celebrated with the pickup of more "June's Pearls" giclées from my printer for recent orders. TODAY, in honor of America's Birthday and my favorite fruit, which happens to be native to America, you can add a print of "June's Pearls" or the original watercolor to your collection at 10% off using coupon code AMERICASFRUIT at checkout.

Enjoy your 4th of July and may there be plenty of blueberries in your life today!

Creatively,

Add America's Fruit to your Art Collection!
The above image is an Artist's Proof for a limited edition run of 25 giclées, all printed on 11" x 14" Textured 100% Rag Paper. They will be printed on demand by my local printer, upon ordering. Turnaround time will be two weeks (my printer is away on vacation through the 15th) to allow for communication to my printer, and room in my schedule to pick finished giclées. Each print will be hand-signed and numbered, and packaged in an archival clear bag.

Matting is available at an additional cost, depending on type of mat / mount.

SAVE 10% TODAY! Use coupon code AMERICASFRUIT at checkout.

"June's Pearls" which is one of the paintings included in the Valley Arts Artist Member Show, is an original watercolor, 12" x 6", finished in a modern solid wood, white frame, floated on an archival matboard. The entire frame package is archival. It's currently on exhibit through July 30th, and can be purchased directly through Valley Arts. The work is $350 and a portion of sales go to benefit Valley Arts. Please contact Jeremy Moss to purchase and tell him that I offered 10% off today, July 4th.

How to make: we used pieces of corrugated cardboard which I hold onto from packages, and then our boxes of loose parts which contain things like feathers, straws, buttons, tape, googly eyes, pom poms, etc. The only thing the kids were thinking about was 4th of July, and through their explorations, interesting interpretations developed. It's always amazing what free time, simple supplies, and the space to work can create. This was a great start to our July 4th.
