Dear ,
Blueberries, clouds, and the outdoors have been on my mind. I've been adjusting to a new
schedule since the end of the school year; my oldest was home for a week and a half, so I took a studio / work break. Then both kids started camp and my youngest started a new camp where he will attend pre-school in the fall, so my schedule has been in flux.
After a huge mommy mistake last week of sending my oldest to the wrong week of camp (one of the worst Mommy moments thus far), I'm finally getting into my new routine which will last for just a few more weeks before our family vacation to Cape May (check out my recent blog post below about how Cape May inspired one of my paintings). Kids are enjoying camps, a mixed bag of outdoor day camps with water play and swimming, and this week Joel is attending the Newark
Museum's STEAM camp. More in an upcoming blog. I think he's loving it.
So, I haven't forgotten you and I've been making art intermittently, pursuing business opportunities, teaching my adult watercolor class and actively posting on
Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. So if you want more of me, please visit there to stay in touch. But, wait! Stay here, too because I'm trying to make this email more exclusive, more intimate and special.
Because I love you, I'm sending
you a special offer to save 20% on an upcoming artwork / commission purchase. Although it's still summer, now is a good time to commission gifts (including Wedding Cake Portraits) for the holidays or add to your collection. I can only apply this to works that are in my studio, not at galleries or other retailers. So, if you'd like to take advantage, please use the coupon code on the selected works in my online store, or contact me about other works / commissions and mention this email.
And, this offer will not expire. And, it CAN be combined with other offers.
Explore below to see what's new in the studio, on the blog, and upcoming events!
Thank you, as always, for your support! Creatively,
Save 20% on any in-Studio Artwork Purchase or Commission

Art Donated to Nikhil Badlani Foundation Auction
|
The Nikhil Badlani Foundation, based in West Orange, was formed after Nikhil, a student who attended my son's
elementary school, was killed in 2011 when a car ran through a STOP sign. The foundation's mission is to raise awareness of traffic safety and help children support their dreams in music and academics. They are hosting a benefit art auction this Saturday at Valley Arts' Firehouse Gallery in Orange. Proceeds of the auction will go to support graduating seniors from South Orange, West Orange and Maplewood. This piece and several other by local artists, and Indian modern artist, Arun
Vedehra. I'll be in attendance at the beginning of the evening. Please join me and support this ever so important cause.

P. S. If you're in the South Orange area, have you seen the signs? I participated in the branding of neighboring town, South Orange's Summer Nights, outdoor summer concerts. If you're around the area, look for the lawn signs featuring the yellow Bel Air. Better yet, come out to a Wednesday night concert to enjoy the entertainment and see the 30' banner featuring my work. The original painting is currently being framed by Rick Hauser of the Framing Mill. Stay
tuned for an upcoming announcement for the opportunity to purchase it or contact
me with your interest if you just can't wait. Here's the first big reveal: |
