Namaste. Did you know the true meaning of the Sanskrit word is "I bow to you"? Another translation that I've heard is "The light in me shines on the light in you" and as I think about my art - it is in some way a form of a namaste, probably at the point when someone else recognizes it and connects with it - it's a way of connecting me to you. I do believe that my art partly comes out of my spirit and there is a bond in
a way between you and me. Not everyone buys my work or takes my lessons, but you have found something in my work that speaks to you. I treasure that and am so excited to offer new works to you that embrace this idea even more.
Yoga has been important in my life since I discovered it after college while I was teaching. It was an incredibly powerful practice that helped get me through a very difficult time. While I'm not seriously practicing yoga in a studio at the moment, I return to asanas (poses) very often and am currently practicing meditation. My artwork has grown both in numbers and in concept since adding meditation and more
movement to my daily routines.
So, to get to the heART of the matter - I'm releasing two new derivative products featuring my TeaScapes, and I've also uploaded ALL of my TeaScapes to my online shop. I will be increasing their prices in the coming week so you have an opportunity to purchase them at their release prices. I am over the moon excited about these new yoga mats featuring my painting Cold Season. I have decided to keep one mat to try out and I'm in LOVE. They are thick, squishy, sticky and I dare say, beautiful. It was joyful to do a down dog

Green Tea Reservoir is one of my newest TeaScapes just finished. ALL of my available TeaScapes are in my online shop and listed at their release pricing. After the shop goes public, the prices will increase. In case you haven't seen
them or know of them, they are meditational environments created through watercolor and image transfers.
I just had the most incredible compliment by a new collector, drawing a connection between the treatment of these works and Tolkien's illustrations. I'm deeply honored - I just picked up a catalogue of his work and I have to say, I see some of the similarities. While I wasn't familiar with his artwork until now and wasn't thinking about it while creating my work, it's interesting to see the way others view my work and that there are
