Enrollment Open for my 1st Workshop

Hi there ,

I hope you enjoyed a long weekend to celebrate the 4th and finding respite from heat and smoke! I’m traveling this week, visiting family in the northeast, and fortunately escaping the heat of North Carolina that just swept into the region.

It’s rare that I send communications so close together and while on vacation. You mostly likely received a Color Palette of a recent painting last week. That was accidental - it was supposed to go only to new subscribers, but you’ve been following me so I’m grateful you received it. Enjoy the Color Palette and please spread the word about my newsletter! If you didn’t get it, you can see it on my private Pinterest board. I plan to add more to that board over time.

WHY am I writing you over my vacation? I’m so excited and can’t wait to share my FIRST, LIVE scheduled workshop in North Carolina at the end of the month. This is a great opportunity to dig into a new approach, understand my process, and build connections with other art-loving folks.

If you’re outside of the NC area for my workshop, and you’ve been interested in working with me, I will be opening up art coaching slots beginning in mid-July. I’ll be Zooming from my almost-finished studio. I’m confident that you will get so much useful support. For these spots - send me an email with your interest in art coaching. Meditative Teascape Painting Class

WHERE: Casa Bella Market, 3604 Witherspoon Blvd #105 Durham, NC 27707

WHEN: Thursday, July 27th

TIME: 6-8pm

FEE: $65

I will guide you through the process of creating your own TeaScape in your own style. Using tea packages and tea, you will learn to create a surface using image transfers and tea staining. From there you will layer a watercolor landscape from a place that is significant to you. Students should bring landscape reference photos and a tea of their choice to drink / stain.

All supplies will be provided (please bring reference photo and tea to drink or use).
