Hi there , I hope this note
finds you rested post-Thanksgiving. We embarked on a lengthy journey to Pennsylvania and Massachusetts to visit family. The trip was memorable, marked by challenging weather conditions and brake issues. Fortunately, we prioritized safety, had additional time on our hands, and found a mechanic in northwestern VA who was willing to address the brake concerns. The remainder of the journey was smooth, albeit lengthy. I have much to be grateful for - our safety, the time spent with family, the opportunity to relax, indulge in good food, enjoy football, and explore the woods through hiking made the trip worthwhile. Mostly, it was a weekend outside of our routines, connecting with our family in ways we don't normally do. Now that we're back from our adventurous trek up north and into the swing of the upcoming holidays, I wanted to send a
quick reminder for upcoming time-sensitive opportunities that may help you engage in the world in a different way, maybe shift into what Nick Cave shared in the OnBeing podcast with Krista Tippett, as a "reaching beyond ourselves" - whether through connecting in my Open Studio, engaging in a Coaching session, or viewing artwork. I think we all need some of that.
PLEASE RSVP: VIRTUAL OPEN STUDIO
This Saturday, December 2nd, from 3 - 5pm, I'm inviting you to attend my open studio from near or far. THE BEST PART - it's
VIRTUAL, which means you can join from anywhere! I invite you to come festively, with an open curiosity to chat with me about my work, see and collect available art, ask questions, and connect with other TraillWorks' loving
people!
I will be sending out a link ONLY to those who tell me they want to attend. A Zoom link will go out to all subscribers on the morning of 12/2. RSVP here. If you can't make it Saturday, and would like to schedule a separate Zoom session, send me an email.
YES, SEND ME THE ZOOM LINK!🔗
Work in Progress, that might be finished by Saturday!
Through December 15th, I'm opening up 30-minute complimentary art coaching calls as my gift to you! I've never done this before, so I'm giving it a
whirl. Are you immersed in an artwork, grappling with technical questions or seeking guidance on
its direction? Perhaps you're navigating inquiries about your art business or studio. Whether crafting a portfolio for art school or supporting a teen's artistic journey, I'm here to help. Come with a clear need in mind and we'll start there! Check out my Calendly page and select from my available time slots. December 15th will be the final day I offer this opportunity and it's only available to subscribers!
CALLING all WATERCOLORISTS!
I'm cooking up a Virtual Winter Watercolor Intensive for beginners and students who want a refresher on the basics. It will be
focused on materials and techniques, aimed at building confidence in a sketchbook to then paint outdoors in warmer weather. Before I finalize dates and times, I want to see what works for you! I've put together a very brief survey. Please take a minute to respond.
MINI DOG PORTRAITS OPEN thru 12/2!
Maggie, a goofy Border Collie/Golden Retriever mix, is soon headed to Pittsburgh, PA, to be gifted by an artist-friend to her husband. I love being able to render these
memories of your furry family and even more importantly, offer something so special for you to give. It warms my heart so much, that I've decided to open up just THREE more Mini Dog Portrait spots for gifting this holiday season. Interested? Ready to go? Book it by 12/2 for completion and delivery by Christmas. Each portrait is $95 and is mounted in an archival mat ready to be framed. Applicable tax and shipping is additional. Don't miss this year's chance to gift a remarkable essence of a pet to someone you love!
